DTC B2375  : Rain sensor malfunction

DTC Description DTC
B2375 Rain sensor malfunction  

DTC (Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor)

NOTE:  If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A - Refer to:

Body Electrical Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A - Initial Communication and DTC Checks .

  1. Problem verification

    -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

    Clear DTCs

    - 2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

    - 3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    DTC Description DTC
    B2375 Rain sensor malfunction  

    Is DTC B2375 indicated?

    YES 

    Go to step 2.

    NO 

    Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

  2. Connector check

    -1. Check for loose or poor connections at the automatic lighting/rain sensor 5P connector.

    Is the connection OK?

    YES 

    Go to step 3.

    NO 

    Reconnect or repair the 5P connector.

  3. Rain sensor visual check

    -1. Remove the Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor - Removal and Installation

    - 2. Check for dirt and dust on the surface of the rain sensor.

    Is it dirty?

    YES 

    Clean the automatic lighting/rain sensor, and then recheck the system.

    NO 

    Go to step 4.

  4. Windshield glass visual check: Is it dirty or damaged?

    YES 

    Clean the windshield and, if necessary, repair or replace the windshield glass.

    NO 

    Replace the Automatic Lighting/Rain Sensor - Removal and Installation .
