DTC U1280 : Communication Bus Line Error (Bus-Off)
NOTE:

- If the B-CAN lines problem or BSI radar unit internal circuit malfunction, HDS does not communicate with the BSI radar unit. If DTC U1280 is indicated HDS, the system is OK at this time.

DTC (BSI)
- BSI radar unit connector check
-1. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the BSI radar unit 6P connector.
Is the BSI radar unit 6P connector OK?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Repair or reconnect the connector securely.
- BSI radar unit check
-1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and read the HDS.

YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to intermittent failures troubleshooting - Refer to:
How to Troubleshoot the Blind Spot Information System/Cross Traffic Monitor (2016 2017 2018) or
How to Troubleshoot the Blind Spot Information System/Cross Traffic Monitor (2019 2020 2021) .
NO
Go to the Multiplex Integrated Control System General Troubleshooting . If the symptom is still present, replace the appropriate BSI Radar Unit - Removal and Installation .
