Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) - High Beam And Low Beam Does Not Switch Automatically

  1. DTC check

    -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

    Clear DTCs

    - 2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    - 3. Wait for at least 6 seconds.

    - 4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    DTCs

    Are any DTCs indicated?

    YES 

    Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting, then recheck.

    NO 

    Go to step 2.

  2. C-MOS camera check

    -1. Do the C-MOS camera light source test. Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) C-MOS Camera Light Source 

    Are all data list values correct?

    YES 

    Go to step 3.

    NO 

    Faulty auto high-beam control unit, replace the Rearview Mirror - Removal and Installation .

  3. Switch information check

    -1. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

    H/L Hi ON input information (CAN)    
    Speed input information (CAN)    
    Auto light frame input information (CAN)    
    H/L Auto SW input information (CAN)    
    Hi beam control signal    
    The dirt of the camera lens indicator    
    Bad weather sensed    
    Village sensed Keep    
    Speed limit below threshold    
    Headlights sensed    
    Taillights sensed    

    Is each switch information OK?

    YES 

    The system is OK at this time. Check the C-MOS Camera Light Source Test . If everything looks OK, explain auto high-beam activation conditions to the customer.

    NO 

    Check the abnormal circuit and operation criteria.
