NOTE:
How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2019 2020 2021).
- Refer to the DTC code shown on the display, and then inspect the connectors and terminals based on the instructions in the table below.
- According to the detected DTC(s), check for the power circuit and the ground circuit of the control unit which cannot communicate with the multipurpose camera unit.

DTC (IDAS)
- DTC check
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
Clear DTCs
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 5 seconds.
- 5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to intermittent failures troubleshooting - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) (2019 2020 2021)
- CAN gateway system DTC check
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Check for CAN gateway system DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Are any DTCs indicated?
YES
Go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting Communication Systems DTC Troubleshooting Index .
NO
Go to step 3.
- F-CAN circuit communication check (Receiving control unit)
- 1. Select the FUNCTION TEST in the CAN gateway with the HDS, then select the F-CAN Bus Connected Unit Check.

Does the multipurpose camera unit detect the CAN gateway Bus channels A?
Bus A is Not Available
Go to step 4.
Bus A is Available
Go to step 5.
- Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line, F-CAN A_L line)
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connectors.
CAN gateway 16P connector Multipurpose camera unit 20P connector - 3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CAN gateway and the multipurpose camera unit. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the Multipurpose Camera Unit .
NO
Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H and/or the F-CAN A_L wire(s) between the multipurpose camera unit and the CAN gateway.
- F-CAN circuit communication check (Transmitting control unit)
- 1. Select the FUNCTION TEST in the CAN gateway with the HDS, then select the F-CAN Bus Connected Unit Check.

According to the detected DTC on the following table, make sure that the transmitting control unit detects the CAN gateway Bus channel(s) normally.

U0131-00: EPS control unit is Not Available for Bus A
Go to step 6.
U0155-00: Gauge control module is Not Available for Bus A
Go to step 6.
- Open wire check (F-CAN A_H line, F-CAN A_L line)
- 1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. According to the detected DTC on the following table, disconnect the transmitting control unit connector(s).

Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good PCM (6-Speed A/T) , then recheck.
If they are OK, replace the original PCM - Refer to: PCM (6-Speed A/T) .U0101-00 Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CAN gateway and the PCM.
Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good PCM (6-Speed A/T) then recheck.
If they are OK, replace the original PCM - Refer to: PCM (6-Speed A/T) .U0114-00 Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CAN gateway and the i-VTM control unit.
Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good i-VTM Control Unit then recheck.
If they are OK, replace the original i-VTM control unit .U0122-00 Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CAN gateway and the VSA modulator-control unit.
Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting.
If they are OK, replace the VSA Modulator-Control Unit .U0126-00 Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CAN gateway and the steering angle sensor.
Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good Steering Angle Sensor , then recheck.

Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting, or substitute a known-good Gauge Control Module , then recheck.
If they are OK, replace the original Gauge Control Module .NO
Repair an open in the F-CAN A_H and/or the F-CAN A_L wire(s) between the transmitting control unit and the CAN gateway.
