RDM Indicator
When the RDM system is OK, the RDM indicator comes on for about 6 seconds after the vehicle is turned to the ON mode, then it goes off.
When the RDM system detects a problem during operation, the RDM system stops operating, and the RDM indicator turns on.
NOTE: The RDM system communicates with the PCM, the VSA system, the gauge control module, and the steering angle sensor via the F-CAN. If a connected unit malfunctions, the RDM system will not operate. In this case, the RDM indicator and the connected unit indicator come on and stay on (except for the gauge control module).
