DTC Troubleshooting: C1801-92, C1802-92, C1803-92, C1804-92

DTC C1801-92  : Right-Front Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery DTC C1802-92  : Left-Front Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery DTC C1803-92  : Right-Rear Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery DTC C1804-92  : Left-Rear Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery

NOTE: 

DTC Description DTC
C1801-92 Right-Front Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery  
C1802-92 Left-Front Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery  
C1803-92 Right-Rear Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery  
C1804-92 Left-Rear Tire Pressure Sensor Low Battery  

DTC (TPMS)

  1. Problem verification

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    Does the low tire pressure/TPMS indicator go off within one minute?

    YES 

    Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .

    NO 

    The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.

  2. Tire pressure sensor check

    -1. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

    Signal Current conditions
    Values Unit
    The information of Right Front sensor status 2    
    Signal Current conditions
    Values Unit
    The information of Left Front sensor status 2    
    The information of Right Rear sensor status 2    
    The information of Left Rear sensor status 2    

    Is BATTERY LOW indicated?

    YES 

    Replace the appropriate tire pressure sensor .

    NO 

    Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the body control module connectors. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the body control module .
