Clutch Master Cylinder Overhaul (M/T) (2016 2017 2018): Reassembly

NOTE:

Refer to the Exploded View as needed during this procedure.
Clean all parts in brake fluid and air dry; blow out all passages with compressed air.
Check that all parts are free of dust and other foreign particles.
Replace parts with new ones whenever specified to do so.
Make sure no dirt or other foreign matter is allowed to contaminate the brake fluid.
Do not reuse the drained fluid. Use only clean genuine Honda DOT 3 or DOT 4 Brake Fluid.

Clutch Master Cylinder Piston Assembly - Install

1. Apply the rubber grease to the piston.

2. Slide the piston assembly (A) into the clutch master cylinder.

3. Install the connector (B) with a new O-ring (C).

4. Install the push rod (A) with the stop plate, and install the circlip (B) in the groove of the clutch master cylinder while pushing the piston.
