DTC P0ABA (1055): HV Battery Pack Voltage Sense A Circuit
General Description
The battery control processor and a LIB-IC are built into the battery condition monitor module A and the battery control processor detects various malfunctions. The battery control processor transmits/receives information to/from the LIB-IC by using communication line. When the battery control processor detects the failures of communication line, LIB-IC, or battery pack for a set time, a malfunction is detected and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
One of these conditions is met for at least 2 seconds:
- Clock monitor of battery control processor in the battery condition monitor module A failure
- CRC monitor of battery control processor in the battery condition monitor module A failure
- Timer monitor of battery control processor in the battery condition monitor module A failure
- Battery pack voltage monitor failure

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL and the POWER SYSTEM indicator comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the battery condition monitor module A memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL and the POWER SYSTEM indicator are cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL and the POWER SYSTEM indicator, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command or by disconnecting the 12 volt battery.
