Charge Lid - The charge lid does not open with the charge lid opener switch control, but can open with the keyless control

The charge lid does not open with the charge lid opener switch control, but can open with the keyless control 

1. Charge lid opener switch check

   -1. Check the charge lid opener switch

   Is the charge lid opener switch OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Replace the charge lid opener switch.

2. AC CHG LID OP SW line check 1

   -1. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

   Signal	Current conditions
   	Value	Unit
   Charge LID Open Switch

   Is data list value OFF?

   YES 

   Go to step 3.

   NO 

   Go to step 6.

3. AC CHG LID OP SW line check 2

   -1. Push and hold the charge lid opener switch button, and check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

   Signal	Current conditions
   	Value	Unit
   Charge LID Open Switch

   Is data list value ON?

   YES 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

   NO 

   Go to step 4.

4. Open wire check (AC CHG LID OP SW line)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Body control module connector D (40P)Charge lid opener switch 5P connector

   -3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeBody control module connector D (40P): disconnectedCharge lid opener switch 5P connector: disconnected
   Test point 1	Body control module connector D (40P) No. 18
   Test point 2	Charge lid opener switch 5P connector (female terminals) No. 5:

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Go to step 5.

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.

5. Open wire check (GND line)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition

   Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeCharge lid opener switch 5P connector: disconnected

   Test point 1	Charge lid opener switch 5P connector (female terminals) No. 4:
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Replace the body control module .

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the ground wire or poor ground (G301).

6. Shorted wire check (AC CHG LID OP SW line)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Body control module connector D (40P)

   -3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeBody control module connector D (40P): disconnected
   Test point 1	Body control module connector D (40P) No. 18
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Repair a short to ground in the wire.

   NO 

   Replace the body control module .
