Charge Lid - The charge lid does not open with both the keyless and charge lid opener switch controls

The charge lid does not open with both the keyless and charge lid opener switch controls 

NOTE: 

• Before troubleshooting, make sure the No. B21 and No. C37 fuses are OK.

1. Charge lid actuator relay check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Do the charge lid actuator relay test .

   Is the charge lid actuator relay OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Replace the charge lid actuator relay, then recheck.

2. Power supply line check

   -1. Remove the charge lid actuator relay.

   -2. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeCharge lid relay: disconnected
   Test point 1	Charge lid actuator relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 1:
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Test point 1	Charge lid actuator relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 3:
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there battery voltage?

   YES 

   Go to step 3.

   NO 

   Go to step 8.

3. Open wire check (AC CHG LID RLY OUT line)

   -1. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Charge lid actuator 2P connector

   -2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeCharge lid actuator relay: disconnectedCharge lid actuator 2P connector: disconnected
   Test point 1	Charge lid actuator relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 2:
   Test point 2	Charge lid actuator 2P connector (female terminals) No. 1:

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Go to step 4.

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.

4. Shorted wire check (AC CHARGE LID RLY OUT line)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeCharge lid actuator relay: disconnectedCharge lid actuator 2P connector: disconnected
   Test point 1	Charge lid actuator relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 2:
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Repair a short to ground in the wire.

   NO 

   AC CHG LID RLY OUT wire is OK. Go to step 5.

5. Charge lid actuator check

   -1. Do the charge lid actuator test .

   Is the charge lid actuator OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 6.

   NO 

   Replace the charge lid actuator.

6. Open wire check (GND line)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition

   Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeCharge lid actuator 2P connector: disconnected

   Test point 1	Charge lid actuator 2P connector (female terminals) No. 2:
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Go to step 7.

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the ground wire or poor ground (G205).

7. Open wire check (AC CHG LID RLY line)

   -1. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Body control module connector B (36P)

   -2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeBody control module connector B (36P): disconnectedCharge lid actuator relay: disconnected
   Test point 1	Body control module connector B (36P) No. 5
   Test point 2	Charge lid relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 4:

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Replace the body control module .

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.

8. Open wire check (+B CHARGE LID ACT line)

   -1. Disconnect the following connectors.

   Under-dash fuse/relay box connector F (12P)

   -2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) modeUnder-dash fuse/relay box connector F (12P): disconnectedCharge lid actuator relay: disconnected
   Test point 1	Under-dash fuse/relay box connector F (12P) (female terminals) No. 9:
   Test point 2	Charge actuator 4P connector (female terminals) No. 3:

   Test point 1	Under-dash fuse/relay box connector F (12P) (female terminals) No. 9:
   Test point 2	Charge lid actuator relay 4P connector (female terminals) No. 1:

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Go to step 9.

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.

9. Shorted wire check (+B CHARGE LID ACT line)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Repair a short to ground in the wire.

   NO 

   replace the body control module .
