Removal and Installation

NOTE: How to read the torque specifications .

1. Vehicle - Lift
2. Front Wheel - Remove
3. Tie-Rod End Ball Joint - Disconnect

   1. Remove the cotter pin (A). 2. Remove the nut (B). 3. Disconnect the tie-rod end ball joint from the knuckle using the ball joint thread protector and the ball joint remover . NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the ball joint boot when installing the ball joint remover. During installation, install the new cotter pin after tightening the nut, and bend its end as shown.

4. All Removed Parts - Install

   1. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
