Sunlight Sensor Removal, Installation, and Test: Test

NOTE:

Before testing the sensor, check for climate control DTCs .
The sunlight sensor with automatic lighting cannot be test. If no DTC indicated, the sunlight sensor is OK.

Sunlight Sensor - Test

1. Connect the sunlight sensor connector (A).

2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

3. Measure the voltage between terminals according to the table.

NOTE:

The voltage readings will not change under the light of a flashlight or a fluorescent lamp.

4. If the voltage is not as specified, replace the sunlight sensor.
