  1. Rear Differential Subharness - Remove
  2. Harness Bracket A - Remove
  3. Harness Bracket B - Remove
  4. Harness Bracket D - Remove
  5. Filler Plug - Remove
  6. Drain Plug - Remove
  7. Oil Seal (Driveshaft Side) - Remove
  8. Sensor Cover - Remove
  9. Rear Differential Fluid Temperature Sensor - Remove
  10. Rear Differential Fluid Pressure Sensor - Remove
  11. Rear Differential Solenoid Valve Connector Assembly - Remove
  12. Rear Differential Pump Motor - Remove
  13. Pump Drive Joint - Remove
  14. Locknut - Remove

    1. Pry up the stake on the locknut (A) from the groove of the clutch guide shaft, making sure the tab completely clears the groove to prevent damaging the clutch guide shaft.

    2. Install the companion flange holder and the holder handle on the companion flange.

    3. Loosen the locknut (A) counterclockwise so its tab (B) comes out from the groove (C) in the clutch guide shaft.

    4. Tighten the locknut (A) until its tab (B) aligns with the groove (C).

    5. Clean any dirt from inside the groove in the clutch guide shaft, then loosen the locknut.

  15. Spring Washer - Remove
  16. Back-Up Ring - Remove
  17. Companion Flange - Remove

    1. Remove the companion flange (A) with a commercially available puller.
  18. Oil Seal (Propeller Shaft Side) - Remove
  19. Oil Pump Cover - Remove
  20. Inner Rotor/Outer Rotor - Remove
  21. Fluid Strainer - Remove
  22. Oil Pump Case - Remove
  23. Baffle Cover - Remove
  24. Differential Clutch Assembly - Remove
  25. Oil Pump Body Assembly - Remove
  26. Rear Differential Solenoid Valve - Remove
