RDM Switch Internal Resistance Check:
1. Measure the resistance between the CMBS OFF/RDM switch 10P connector (male terminals) terminals No. 4 and No. 5 according to the table.
- If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the CMBS OFF switch/RDM switch.
Position Resistance at normal ambient temperature Released 12.1-14.8 kΩ Pressed and held 3.1-3.8 kΩ RDM Switch Indicator Drive Circuit Check:
1. Check the LED for illumination by applying power and ground to the terminals according to the table.
NOTE: Note this important operating characteristic; diode bias causes a diode to fully conduct electricity in one direction (forward), while not at all in the opposite direction (reverse).
If the results are not as specified, replace the CMBS OFF switch/RDM switch.
RDM Switch Illumination Circuit Check:
1. Check the LED for illumination by applying power and ground to the terminals according to the table.
