The MID does not indicate when the CMBS OFF switch is operated (CMBS)

Diagnostic procedure 

• Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .
• Test the CMBS OFF switch .

Also check for 

• An open or increased resistance in the wire
• A short in the wire
