DTC U0418-92  : Temporary stop of Integrated Driver Support System (Rejected control request by ESB/EBB System)

DTC U0418-9A  : Temporary stop of Integrated Driver Support System (Not Start-Up ESB/EBB Control Unit)

NOTE: 

• Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
• These DTCs are recorded when the electric servo brake control unit cannot temporarily accept brake request from the integrated driver support system.
• Examples of the situation where DTCs are recorded are as follows:
• • Reduction of the electric servo brake control unit power supply voltage.
  • The electric servo brake control unit cannot accept ACC brake request because the VSA system sets the brake pad high temperature information.
• If this DTC is recorded, some of the integrated driver support system functions are temporarily canceled but it is not a failure.
• When the electric servo brake control unit returns to normal, the temporarily cancelled integrated driver support system functions are re-activated.
• The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index .

DTC (IDAS)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 6 seconds.

   -2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC

   Is there any DTC(s) other than U0418-92 or U0418-9A?

   YES 

   Perform a troubleshooting for the recorded DTC.

   NO 

   Clear the DTC with the HDS and explain to the customer that it is not a failure.
