DTC B2A60-98 : Multipurpose Camera Unit Temperature Too High
DTC P2583-98 : Millimeter Wave Radar Temperature Too High
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- These DTC are recorded when the vehicle is left in the scorching heat, is in a traffic jam at high temperature, or is driving uphill continuously and the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit gets extremely hot.
- The function automatically returns to normal when the internal temperatures of the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit drop.
- The functions of the integrated driver support system that will be temporarily canceled when this DTC is recorded can be confirmed with the DTC troubleshooting index .

DTC (IDAS)
- Inspecting the temperature in the control unit
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Check the parameter(s) of the internal temperatures of the millimeter wave radar and the multipurpose camera unit with the HDS.
Signal Current conditions Values Unit Radar temperature Camera temperature Is the temperature 185°F (85°C) or less?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Cool the control unit until the internal temperature is 167°F (75°C) or less. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- Problem verification:
NOTE: If the control unit has an internal temperature of 167°F (75°C) or more, cool the control unit until the internal temperature is 167°F (75°C) or less.
-1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for at least 6 seconds.
-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

YES
The failure is duplicated. Faulty a control unit, replace the control unit related to the DTC.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. The control unit was temporarily in a high temperature state.
