DTC P00FE : EVAP Vent Line Blockage
Special Tools Required
Vacuum Pump/Gauge, 0-30 inHg Snap-on YA4000A or equivalent, commercially available

DTC (PGM-FI)
- Fuel tank vapor control valve/fuel vent tube check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-2. Insert the emergency fuel funnel into the fuel filler neck .
-3. Remove the heat shield .
-4. Disconnect the fuel vent tube (A) from the EVAP canister (B), and connect a vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, to the fuel vent tube as shown.
-5. Apply vacuum to the fuel vent tube.
Does it hold the vacuum?
YES
NO
Go to step 2.
- EVAP canister check 1
-1. Disconnect drain hose A from the EVAP canister (B), then plug the drain tube port (C).
-2. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge hose (A) from the EVAP canister (B), then connect the vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, to the EVAP canister as shown.
-3. Apply vacuum to the EVAP canister.
Does it hold the vacuum?
YES
NO
Go to step 3.
- EVAP canister check 2
-1. Remove the plug from the drain tube port (A) and plug the fuel vent tube port (B), then connect the vacuum pump/gauge, 0-30 inHg, to the EVAP canister as shown.
-2. Apply vacuum to the EVAP canister.
Does it hold the vacuum?
YES
NO
Go to step 4.
- Drain hose A visual check
-1. Disconnect drain hose A from the EVAP leak check module (B).
-2. Visually check drain hose A for deformation, foreign object clogged, or restrictions.
Is the hose OK?
YES
Replace the EVAP leak check module .
NO
