DTC P0010 : VTC Malfunction
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- If DTC P0010 is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC P100A, P100B, and P100C using the on-board snapshot for P0010.
- If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P0010, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P0010.

- DTC check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P100A Electric VTC Motor Circuit Malfunction P100B Electric VTC Motor Control Module Malfunction P100C Electric VTC Motor Speed Signal Circuit Malfunction P0010 VTC Malfunction Are DTC P100A, P100B, or P100C and P0010 indicated at the same time?
YES
Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO
Go to the troubleshooting for DTC P100A , DTC P100B , and DTC P100C using the on-board snapshot for DTC P0010.
