DTC U3000-49 (VSA Control Unit)

DTC U3000-49  : ECU Internal Circuit Failure

NOTE 

Confirmation Procedure Basic Condition:
  • 12 volt battery voltage 9.6 - 16.5 V
  • ABS/VSA function not in operation

With the Driving Pattern:

  • Turn the vehicle to the READY TO DRIVE mode.
  • Test-drive the vehicle at 25 mph (40 km/h) or more.

    (Be careful of the surrounding traffic conditions.)

Duration About 1 second
DTC Type
  • 1 drive cycle
  • Brake system indicator (red) on or blink (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Brake system indicator (amber) on (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • ABS indicator on (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • VSA indicator on (Dependant upon the conditions)
Fail Safe Action
  • Stop CAN function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop EBD function or Degrade EBD performance (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop ABS function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop engine drag torque control function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop TCS function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop VSA function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop agile handling assist control function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop hydraulic boost failure compensation function (Dependant upon the conditions)
  • Stop electric parking brake function (some of function) (Dependant upon the conditions)
Possible Cause
  • VSA modulator-control unit internal failure
