DTC P1DEA: VCU V0 Voltage Control Failure
General Description
The power control unit (PCU) controls the voltage control unit (VCU) output based on the V0 voltage sensor signals. When the difference in voltages compared is a specified value or more and continues for a specified duration or more, the motor control module in the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
The difference between the V2M voltage sensor detection value divided by two and the V0 voltage sensor detection value is more than 20 V and continues for 2.0 seconds or more.

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the motor control module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command.
