DTC P1DAA: VCU V2S Voltage Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
General Description
The power control unit (PCU) controls the traction motor and generator motor output based on the V2S voltage sensor signals. If a calculated output voltage of the V2S voltage sensor (V V2SOS) is out of a specified value for a specified time, the motor control module in the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
If both Symptom 1 and Symptom 2 continue for at least 1.0 second.
Symptom 1
- The difference between the V2S voltage sensor detection value and the battery pack voltage is 40 V or more.
Symptom 2
- The difference between the V2S voltage sensor detection value and the V1 voltage sensor detection value is 50 V or more.

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the motor control module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command.
