DTC P1A88: VCU V1 Voltage Sensor Circuit Range/Performance (Under Voltage Range)
General Description
The power control unit (PCU) controls the voltage control unit (VCU) output based on the V1 voltage sensor signals. When the difference in voltages compared during self-diagnosis (with the C1C0 directly connected) is a specified value or more and continues for a specified duration or more, the motor control module in the PCU detects a malfunction and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
The difference between the V1 voltage sensor detection value and the V0 voltage sensor detection value is more than 30 V and continues for 1.0 second or more.

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the motor control module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool Clear command.
