DTC C0061-62, C0062-62, C0063-62

DTC C0061-62  : Lateral Acceleration Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)

DTC C0062-62  : Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)

DTC C0063-62  : Yaw Rate Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)

NOTE:

C0062-62 Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)  
C0063-62 Yaw Rate Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)  

DTC (VSA)

  1. Problem verification

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

    -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then to the READY TO DRIVE mode.

    -4. Test-drive the vehicle under these conditions:

    • Vehicle speed at 31 mph (50 km/h) or more for at least 20 seconds
    • Brake pedal released
    • Change lanes for a few times

    NOTE: 

    • Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
    • Be careful of the surrounding traffic conditions.

    -5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    C0063-62 Yaw Rate Sensor Failure (Signal Compare Failure)  

    Is DTC C0061-62, C0062-62, or C0063-62 indicated?

    YES 

    The failure is duplicated. Replace the SRS unit .

    NO 

    Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
