DTC C0061-49 : Acceleration Sensor Malfunction
DTC C0062-49 : Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Malfunction
DTC C0063-49 : Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- The yaw rate-acceleration sensor is built into the SRS unit.
- Before troubleshooting, check the SRS unit for proper mounting. If not properly installed the VSA modulator-control unit may set these codes.

DTC (VSA)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then to the READY TO DRIVE mode.
-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC C0061-49 Acceleration Sensor Malfunction C0062-49 Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor Malfunction C0063-49 Yaw Rate Sensor Malfunction Is DTC C0061-49, C0062-49, or C0063-49 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Replace the SRS unit .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
