If you cannot duplicate the DTC

Some of the troubleshooting requires you to clear the DTC and try to duplicate the DTC. If the problem is intermittent and you can't duplicate the DTC, do not continue through the DTC troubleshooting procedure. The troubleshooting procedure is to be used only when the DTC can be duplicated. Using them otherwise will only result in confusion and possibly, needlessly replaced parts.
