DTC P1DFF
DTC P1DFF: IGHLDB Relay Circuit
General Description
The battery condition monitor module commands IGHLDB relay to turn ON or permit it to turn OFF. Normally, when the IGHLDB relay is OFF, the MPU in the battery condition monitor module is in sleep mode. The MPU counts elapsed time since the battery condition monitor module commanded IGHLDB relay to turn OFF. When the MPU remain powered even when the battery condition monitor module commands IGHLDB relay to turn OFF for a specified duration, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored.

Conditions for clearing the DTC
The POWER SYSTEM indicator is cleared if the malfunction does not return in the next trip in which the diagnostic runs. The POWER SYSTEM indicator, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool clear command.
