DTC P1DFD: Power System Indicator Lighting Request From PCM
General Description
The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the power generation state of the generator motor and requests the battery condition monitor module to illuminate the POWER SYSTEM indicator when there is an abnormality.

Malfunction Threshold
When abnormality information is received from the generator motor for 3 seconds or more.

- Out of fuel

Operating Condition
Enter the maintenance mode and wait for 3 seconds.
Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the battery condition monitor module memory. The MIL does not come on.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool clear command or the battery condition monitor module reset.
