DTC P0E2D: HV Battery Cell Voltage Sense Circuit
General Description
The CPU and LIB-ICs are built into the battery condition monitor module and the CPU detects various malfunctions. The CPU transmits/receives information to/from the LIB-IC by using communication line. When the CPU detects the failures of communication line, the LIB-IC, or the battery pack for a set time, a malfunction is detected and stores a DTC.

Malfunction Threshold
One of these conditions is met for at least 2 seconds:
- Clock monitor of CPU in the battery condition monitor module failure
- CRC monitor of CPU in the battery condition monitor module failure
- Timer monitor of CPU in the battery condition monitor module failure
- Battery pack voltage monitor failure

Diagnosis Details
Conditions for setting the DTC
When a malfunction is detected, the MIL comes on and a Pending DTC, a Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data are stored in the battery condition monitor module memory.
Conditions for clearing the DTC
The MIL is cleared if the malfunction does not return in three consecutive trips in which the diagnostic runs. The MIL, the Pending DTC, the Confirmed DTC, and the freeze data can be cleared with the scan tool clear command.
