  1. Battery Pack Assy - Remove 
  2. Service Plug Base - Remove

    NOTICE: 
    • High voltage electricity flows in the battery terminal and busbar after disconnecting the service plug. Do all procedures one by one and keep the terminal covers closed when you are not working on them.
    • Keep the terminal covers closed when you are not working on them.

    1. Open the terminal cover (A).

    2. Remove the negative terminal (B) then close the terminal cover.

    3. Open the positive terminal cover (A).

    4. Remove the positive terminal (B) then close the terminal cover.

    5. Disconnect the clip (C) then remove the service plug base (D).

  3. IPU Upper Frame - Remove

    1. Disconnect the connectors (A).

    2. Release the tabs (B).

    3. Move the harness (C) and remove the upper frame.

  4. Battery Module, High Voltage Battery Module Temperature Sensor - Position check

    NOTE:  Record the battery temperature sensor mounting position (A).

    1. Mark the battery module with a number as shown.

  5. Busbar (Battery Module 1-2) - Remove

    NOTICE: 
    • High voltage electricity flows in the battery terminal and busbar after disconnecting the service plug. Do all procedures one by one and keep the terminal covers closed when you are not working on them.
    • Never reuse a bent or damaged busbar.

    1. Open the terminal covers (A).

    2. Remove the busbar (B), then close the terminal covers.

  6. Busbar (Battery Module 3-4) - Remove

    NOTICE: 
    • High voltage electricity flows in the battery terminal and busbar after disconnecting the service plug. Do all procedures one by one and keep the terminal covers closed when you are not working on them.
    • Never reuse a bent or damaged busbar.

    1. Open the terminal covers (A).

    2. Remove the busbar (B), then close the terminal covers.

  7. Side Plate End Bindbar - Remove
  8. Left Battery Module Assy. (Battery Module 1 and Battery Module 4) - Remove
  9. IPU Sub Harness - Remove
  10. Right Battery Module Assy. (Battery Module 2 and Battery Module 3) - Remove
  11. Battery Lower Duct, IPU Lower Frame - Remove
  12. Battery Module 1 and Battery Module 4 - Remove
  13. Battery Module 2 and Battery Module 3 - Remove
  14. High Voltage Battery Module Temperature Sensor - Remove

    NOTE:  Be sure to record the mounting position before removing the battery temperature sensor.

    1. Press tab (A) in the direction of the arrow.

    2. Lift the high voltage battery module temperature sensor (B) in the direction of the arrow.

    3. Remove the harness clamp (C).

    4. Remove the battery temperature sensor harness (D) from the harness holder (E).
