Keyless Access System Symptom Troubleshooting - All the doors will not lock and unlock
- Door lock actuator operation check 1
-1. Put out all the keyless remotes from inside the vehicle, and close all doors and tailgate.
-2. Press each LOCK and UNLOCK buttons of the keyless remote, at least ten times.
Do the door lock actuators work normally?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Go to step 3.
- Door lock actuator operation check 2
-1. Lock and unlock the doors with touching the door outer handle.
Do the door lock actuators work normally?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
NO
- Determine possible failure area (keyless remote, others)
-1. Press the LOCK and the UNLOCK buttons of the keyless remote, and check if the LED on the keyless remote comes on.
Does the LED come on?
YES
Go to step 4.
NO
- Door lock actuator operation check 2
-1. Lock and unlock the doors with touching the door outer handle.
Do the door lock actuators work normally?
YES
Register the keyless remote , and recheck. If the symptom does not go away, replace the keyless remote .
NO
Go to step 5.
- Door lock actuator operation check 3
-1. Lock and unlock the doors with the driver's door touch sensors.
Do the door lock actuators work normally?
YES
Go to step 6.
NO
Check the B-CAN system DTCs. If not, check the door lock system.
- Keyless access system check
-1. Do the keyless access remote check using the all keyless remotes .
Are the all keyless remotes OK?
YES
Do the SYSTEM CHECK 1 and SYSTEM CHECK 2 with the HDS . If the result is indicated, troubleshoot the items based on the SYSTEM CHECK table.
NO
Replace the keyless remote and recheck.
