Wheel Bolt Removal and Installation: Removal

NOTICE:
- Do not use a hammer or impact tools (pneumatic or electric).
- Be careful not to damage the threads of the wheel bolts.
Front
- Vehicle - Lift
- Front Wheel - Remove
- Front Hub - Remove
- Wheel Bolt - Remove
1. Separate the wheel bolt (A) from the hub (B) using a hydraulic press.
NOTE: Support the hub with hydraulic press attachments (C) or equivalent tools.
Rear
- Vehicle - Lift
- Rear Wheel - Remove
- Rear Brake Disc - Remove
- Wheel Bolt - Remove
1. Attach the ball joint remover to the wheel bolt (A) as shown.
NOTE: Review to how to using the ball joint remover
2. Turn the pressure bolt (B) to separate the wheel bolt from the hub (C).
NOTE: Adjust the adjusting bolt (D) so that the angle between the wheel bolt and the jaw portion (E) of the ball joint remover is kept at perpendicular.
