  1. Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor - Remove

    NOTE:  Be careful not to damage the plastic part.

  2. Shift Solenoid Valve A - Remove
  3. Shift Solenoid Valve B - Remove
  4. ATF Inlet Line - Remove
  5. ATF Outlet Line - Remove
  6. Filler Plug - Remove
  7. Sealing Bolt - Remove
  8. Breather Cap - Remove
  9. Filler Cap - Remove
  10. Transmission Hanger A - Remove
  11. Transmission Hanger B - Remove
  12. Park Pawl Actuator - Remove
  13. Park Position Sensor - Remove
  14. Flywheel Housing - Remove
  15. Intermediate Shaft Oil Seal - Remove
  16. Input Shaft Oil Seal - Remove
  17. 10 x 46.5 mm Pipe - Remove
  18. 8 x 44.1 mm Pipe - Remove
  19. 10.8 x 35 mm Pipe - Remove
  20. Shim - Remove
  21. Generator Shaft - Remove
  22. Shim - Remove
  23. Input Shaft - Remove
  24. Over Drive Clutch - Remove
  25. Cotter Retainer A - Remove

    1. Remove cotter retainer A by compressing the snap ring (B).
  26. Snap Ring - Remove
  27. Cotter - Remove
  28. Parking Gear - Remove
  29. Countershaft and Differential - Remove

    1. Remove the spacer (A).

    2. Remove the countershaft (B) and the differential (C) together.

    3. Remove the spacer (D).

  30. Countershaft Bearing Outer Race (Transmission Housing Side) - Remove

    1. Remove the countershaft bearing outer race using the 45-75 mm adjustable bearing puller and a commercially available 3/8"-16 slide hammer (A).
  31. Shim - Remove
  32. Over Drive Gear - Remove
  33. Over Drive Gear Bearing (Over Drive Clutch Side) - Remove
  34. Internal Snap Ring - Remove

  35. Over Drive Gear Bearing (Transmission Housing Side) - Remove

    1. Remove the over drive gear bearing (A) (transmission housing side) using a commercially available 3.0 mm pin driver (B).
    NOTE:  Lightly tap the pin driver in a crisscross pattern to prevent the bearing from binding.
  36. Internal Snap Ring - Remove

    1. Remove the internal snap ring (A) by compressing it using commercially available snap ring pliers (B).
  37. Feed Pipe Flange - Remove
  38. Feed Pipe A - Remove

    NOTE:  Replace the transmission (e-CVT), if feed pipe B replacement is required.

  39. Parking Brake Pawl - Remove
  40. Parking Pawl Spring - Remove
  41. Parking Shaft - Remove
  42. Parking Brake Rod Holder - Remove

    NOTE:  Pry down the lock tab (A) of the lock washer.

  43. ATF Magnet - Remove and Clean
  44. Driveshaft Oil Seal - Remove
  45. ATF Strainer - Remove

    ATF Strainer Check 

    1. Clean the inlet opening (A) of the ATF strainer (B) thoroughly with compressed air, then check that it is in good condition and that the inlet opening is not clogged.

    2. Check the ATF strainer for clogs, debris, or damage. If the strainer is clogged or damaged, replace it.

  46. Valve Body Assembly - Remove

    NOTE: 

    • Do not disassemble the valve body assembly (A). If any problem occurs, replace the assembly.
    • Remove the appropriate bolts as shown.
    • Do not remove the mounting bolts (B). These bolts secure the regulator valve body (C) and the shift valve body (D).
  47. Separator Plate - Remove
  48. ATF Pump Drive Shaft A - Remove
  49. ATF Pump Drive Shaft B - Remove
  50. ATF Pump Drive Shaft A Bearing - Remove

    1. Remove the ATF pump drive shaft A bearing (A) using the 12 mm bearing remover shaft set and the slide hammer.
  51. ATF Pump Drive Shaft B Bearing - Remove

    1. Remove the ATF pump drive shaft B bearing (A) using the 12 mm bearing remover shaft set and the slide hammer.
  52. Baffle Plate - Remove
  53. Shim - Remove

    1. Using a commercially available snap ring pliers (B), remove the shim (A) by compressing it.
  54. Generator Shaft Bearing - Remove

    1. Remove the generator shaft bearing (A) using the 20 mm bearing remover shaft set, the remover handle, and the slide hammer.
  55. Countershaft Bearing Outer Race (Flywheel Housing Side) - Remove

    1. Remove the countershaft bearing outer race (A) by heating the flywheel housing (B) using a heat gun (C).
    NOTE: 
    • Be careful not to burn yourself by the hot part.
    • Do not heat the flywheel housing more than 212°F (100°C).
  56. Oil Guide Plate C - Remove
  57. Input Shaft Bearing - Remove

    1. Remove the input shaft bearing (A) by heating the flywheel housing (B) using a heat gun (C).
    NOTE: 
    • Be careful not to burn yourself by the hot part.
    • Do not heat the flywheel housing more than 212°F (100°C).
  58. Drain Plug - Remove
  59. Sealing Bolt - Remove
