Resetting the Lifetime Points: Procedure

NOTE:

Do steps 1 through 5 within 30 seconds.
If the "Fuel Efficiency Backlight" is "OFF" to "ON" in the custom setting, by following the instruction in the Owner's Manual.

Lifetime Points - Reset

1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

2. Make sure that it is not the ECON mode by viewing the indicator.

NOTE: If the vehicle is in the ECON mode, turn off the ECON mode, then turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then repeat this step again.

3. Press and release the brake pedal twice.

4. Press the ECON switch once, then press the ECON switch once again.

5. Confirm that the eco ambient meter color disappears.

6. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

NOTE: The ECO score and the ECO stage indicator are not displayed unless idling for 3 minutes or driving for at least 656 ft (200 m) is done.
