Probable cause(s)
- Traction motor position sensor defective
- Traction motor position sensor line failure
- Traction motor sensor harness failure
- Park pawl actuator defective
- Park pawl actuator driver unit defective
- Park position sensor defective
- SBW shifter control module defective
NOTE:
- Inspect the motor shaft for wear and damage.
- Check the motor position sensor harness for poor connections, loose terminals, wear, and damage.
- Check the park position sensor.
- Inspect the park mechanism and the park pawl actuator.
- Check the SBW shifter control module.
- Replace the transmission (e-CVT) .
