Side Windshield Trim Removal and Installation: Removal

1. Insert a wide-tip trim tool (A) and a small-tip trim tool (B) between the windshield side trim (C) and the windshield so it contacts the clips (D).

2. Pull up the windshield side trim with the wide-tip trim tool and push the hooks (E) on the clips with the small-tip trim tool to remove the clips from the retainers (F) as shown.

NOTE:  Do not break the hooks with the trim tool for removal.

3. Release the clips (A, B).
