Cable Reel Removal and Installation: Removal

NOTE: Before doing this procedure, set the front wheels in the straight ahead position.

12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect
NOTE: Wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.
Steering Wheel - Remove
Column Cover - Remove

Cable Reel - Remove

1. Disconnect the connectors (A) from the cable reel.

2. For some models: Disconnect the connector (B) from the cable reel.

3. Release the lock tabs (C), then remove the cable reel (D).
