Spring-Loaded Lock Connector

Some SRS connectors have a spring-loaded lock.
Driver's Airbag Connector/Side Curtain Airbag Connector/Front Seat Belt Tensioner Connector
Disconnecting/Connecting
- Pull out on the locking tabs (A) to disconnect the connector (B). Be careful not to damage the connector.
- Align the guide tab (C) of the connector (D) with the ditch of the other side, and then connect the connector. Be careful not to damage the connector.
Front Passenger's Airbag Connector
Disconnecting/Connecting
- To release the lock, pull the spring-loaded sleeve (A) toward the stop (B) while holding the opposite half of the connector, then pull the connector halves apart. Be sure to pull on the sleeve and not on the connector.
- To reconnect, hold the pawl-side connector, and press on the back of the sleeve-side connector in the direction shown. As the two connector halves are pressed together, the sleeve (C) is pushed back by the pawl (D). Do not touch the sleeve.

Disconnecting/Connecting
- To release the lock, pull the spring-loaded sleeve (A) toward the stop (B) while holding the opposite half of the connector, then pull the connector halves apart. Be sure to pull on the sleeve and not on the connector half.
- To reconnect, hold both connector halves and press them firmly together until the projection (C) of the sleeve-side connector clicks.
