Navigation System Sensor Calibration: Procedure

NOTE:

Check the vehicle 12 volt battery condition first .
You should do this procedure in an open area away from buildings, power lines, other vehicles, and any other sources of strong magnetic fields.

Sensor - Calibration

1. Test-drive the vehicle on the road in a straight line for at least 200 m (656 ft) at a constant speed (turn less than 5 deg/s, accelerate less than 1 mph/s (1.6 km/h/s)).

2. Park the vehicle in an open area, and wait at least 2 minutes with the engine running.

3. Test-drive the vehicle in an open area, and make a 90-degree turn (repeat 2-4 times).
