Climate Control System DTC A-A4, CD

DTC screen A-A4 or DTC screen Cd  : Unknown sunlight sensor type

*1: Climate control panel without display*2: Climate control panel with display

1. DTC check

   -1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

   -3. Do the Self-Diagnostic Function with the HDS or the climate control unit .

   -4. Check for DTCs.

   DTC Description	DTC
   B123F Automatic lighting control unit/sunlight sensor error

   Is DTC B123F, Error on the DTC screen A-A3 (climate control panel without display), or DTC screen 17 (climate control panel with display) indicated?

   YES 

   Go to climate control DTC B123F troubleshooting .

   NO 

   Go to step 2.

2. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode and then the ON mode.

   -2. Do the Self-Diagnostic Function with the climate control unit .

   -3. Check for DTCs.

   Is Error on the DTC screen A-A4 *1 or DTC screen Cd *2 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Go to step 3.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

3. Connector check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Check connection of the following connectors.

   Sunlight sensor 2P connector (with automatic wiper)

   Automatic lighting control unit-sensor 5P connector (without automatic wiper)

   Climate control unit connector A (32P)

   Are the connection and terminals OK?

   YES 

   Replace the climate control unit .

   NO 

   Repair the connections or terminals, then recheck.
