Brake Tandem Motor Cylinder Disassembly and Reassembly: Reassembly: Procedure

Detailed information, notes, and precautions
Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)
Replace
  1. Motor - Install

    1. Clean off any rust or contamination around the gearbox mating surfaces (A).

    2. Apply brake fluid to the O-ring (B).

    3. Install the O-ring to the motor (C).

    4. Apply multipurpose grease included in the motor set to the motor shaft (D).

    5. Install the motor to the gearbox (E).

  2. Reservoir Union - Install

    1. Apply brake fluid to the grommets (A).

    2. Install the grommets to the slave cylinder (B).

    3. Install the reservoir union (C).

    4. Install the spring pin (D).

  3. Bleed Screw - Install
  4. Slave Cylinder - Install

    1. Apply brake fluid to the O-ring (A).

    2. Install the O-ring to the slave cylinder (B).

    3. Install the slave cylinder to the gearbox (C).
