DTC B1375

DTC B1375  : Driver's side PTG switch circuit malfunction

NOTE:

B1375 Driver's side PTG switch circuit malfunction  

DTC (Power Tailgate Control Unit)

  1. Problem verification

    -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

    -2. Operate the driver's power tailgate switch for more than 1 second.

    -3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

    DTC Description DTC
    B1375 Driver's side PTG switch circuit malfunction  

    Is DTC B1375 indicated?

    YES 

    Go to step 2.

    NO 

    Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

  2. Shorted wire check (T/G_OPEN_SW line)

    -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

    -2. Disconnect the following connector.

    Power tailgate control unit connector A (24P)

    -3. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.

    Test condition Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
    Power tailgate control unit connector A (24P): disconnected
    Test point 1 Power tailgate control unit connector A (24P) No. 8
    Test point 2 Body ground

    Is there 1.0 MΩ or more?

    YES 

    Repair a short to ground in the PTG/PTL_SCOM wire.

    NO 

    Repair a short to ground in the T/G_OPEN_SW wire.
