Removal and Installation

NOTE:
- How to read the torque specifications .
- Review the Service Precautions before doing repairs or service .
- Vehicle - Lift
- Rear Wheel - Remove
- Parking Brake - Release
NOTE: Only necessary if the automatic parking brake function is turned on.
- Rear Brake Caliper - Remove
1. Remove the caliper assembly without disconnecting the brake hose from the caliper body . - Brake Disc - Remove
1. Remove the brake disc flathead screw (A). 2. Remove the brake disc (B).
NOTE: If the brake disc is stuck to the hub bearing unit, thread two 8 x 1.25 mm bolts (C) into the brake disc to push it away from the hub bearing unit. Turn each bolt 90 degrees at a time to prevent the brake disc from binding.
- All Removed Parts - Install
1. Install all removed parts in the reverse order of removal. - Rear Brake Disc Runout - Inspect
- Parking Brake - Adjust
1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode. 2. Apply the parking brake, then press the brake pedal and release the parking brake.
3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
