How to Troubleshoot the Electric Servo Brake System: Self-Diagnosis

- Self-diagnosis can be classified into two categories:

Initial diagnosis: Done right after the vehicle to the ON mode and until the brake system indicator (red), and brake system indicator (amber) go off.

Regular diagnosis: Done right after the initial diagnosis until turning the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

- The electric servo brake control unit does the following functions when a problem is detected by self-diagnosis:

Switches to the non servo mode.
- -
Turns on the brake system indicator (amber) and brake system indicator (red) depending on the failure.

Stores the DTC.
- -
Stops the regenerative control cooperation.
