DTC P24B9 (1.5 L Engine)
DTC P24B9 : EVAP Leak Check Module Absolute Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Problem
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- If DTC P24BA and/or P24BB is stored at the same time as DTC P24B9, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for DTC P24B9.

DTC (PGM-FI)
- EVAP leak check module drain hose check
-1. Remove the EVAP leak check module and the EVAP canister filter , then check the blockage in the hoses and the EVAP canister filter.
Are the parts OK?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Remove the blockage from them, or replace the part (s) if needed.
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-4. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P24B9 EVAP Leak Check Module Absolute Pressure Sensor Range/Performance Problem Is DTC P24B9 indicated?
YES
Replace the EVAP leak check module .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals at the EVAP leak check module and the PCM. If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot .
