DTC P1320 : Super Knock
NOTE:
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .
- Make sure the spark plugs are genuine parts and have the correct part number for the vehicle. If the plugs are aftermarket's products or they do not have the correct part number, they may cause this DTC.

DTC (PGM-FI)
- Problem verification
-1. Record all the on-board snapshots with the HDS.
-2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-3. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-4. Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes in the range of these recorded on-board snapshot parameters:
- Engine Speed
- Vehicle Speed
- ECT Sensor 1
- MAP Sensor (Hi Res)
- REL TP Sensor
- IAT Sensor (1)
On-board Snapshot
Signal Current conditions Values Unit Engine Speed Vehicle Speed ECT Sensor 1 Voltage MAP Sensor (Hi Res) REL TP Sensor IAT Sensor (1) -5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P1320 Super Knock Is DTC P1320 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Check for damage of the spark plug (s) and replace them if needed .
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the PCM. If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot .
