Removal and Installation

NOTE: 

• Refer to the Fuel and Emissions Systems Service Precautions before disconnecting the fuel line.
• Fuel may cause flammable gas leaks and may result in fire. Keep sparks, flame and cigarettes away.
• Although a numbered sequence is shown, these "*1" indicated parts are separate components. If removal or replacement of one of the components is needed, it is not necessary to remove the other.

Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)

EVAP Canister Purge Valve*1

Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)

FTP Sensor/EVAP Canister Vent Shut Valve

Replace

EVAP Canister Drain Pipe/EVAP Canister One Way Valve*1

Torque: N.m (kgf.m, lbf.ft)

EVAP Canister 

1. Vehicle - Lift
2. Heat Shield - Remove
3. EVAP Canister - Remove
4. Bracket - Remove
5. All Removed Parts - Install

   1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

   EVAP Canister Purge Valve 

6. Air Cleaner - Remove
7. High Pressure Fuel Pump Cover - Remove
8. Fuel Bracket - Remove
9. EVAP Canister Purge Valve - Remove
10. All Removed Parts - Install

    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

    FTP Sensor/EVAP Canister Vent Shut Valve 

11. EVAP Canister - Remove
12. FTP Senor - Remove
13. EVAP Canister Vent Shut Valve - Remove
14. All Removed Parts - Install

    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.

    EVAP Canister Drain Pipe/EVAP Canister One Way Valve 

15. Rear Inner Fender (Right Side) - Remove
16. EVAP Canister Drain Pipe - Remove
17. EVAP Canister One Way Valve - Remove
18. All Removed Parts - Install

    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
