Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Air Bleeding (2.4 L Engine) (2017 2018 2019): Bleeding

  1. Drive Belt - Remove
  2. Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner - Air Bleed

    		 1. From the top of the engine. Set a wrench on the drive belt auto-tensioner. Take at least 3 seconds to complete a full stroke to compress the drive belt auto-tensioner in the direction of the arrow. Then take 3 seconds to complete a full stroke to move the drive belt auto-tensioner in the opposite direction (decompressing it). Repeat the full compress/decompressing action three more times.
  3. All Removed Parts - Install
    1. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
