12 Volt Battery Terminal Disconnection and Reconnection: Installation

NOTE: How to read the torque specifications .

  1. 12 Volt Battery Terminals - Connect

    NOTE:  If the 12 volt battery performs abnormally, test the 12 volt battery  (A).

    1. Clean the 12 volt battery terminals.

    2. Connect the terminal (B) to the 12 volt battery.

    NOTE:  Always connect the positive side first.

    3. Connect the 12 volt battery sensor (C) with the cable (D) to the 12 volt battery.

    NOTE:  To protect the 12 volt battery sensor connector (E) from damage, do not hold it when installing the terminal (F).

    4. Apply multipurpose grease to the terminals to prevent corrosion.

    5. Close the cover (G).
