VSA Modulator-Control Unit Removal and Installation: Removal

NOTE: 

  1. 12 Volt Battery Terminal - Disconnect
    1. Open the driver's door, and wait 3 minutes or more.
    NOTE:

    Do not turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

    2. Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure

  2. VSA Modulator-Control Unit - Remove

    1. Disconnect the 10 mm brake lines (A).
    NOTE:

    Before disconnecting the brake lines from the VSA modulator, mark them or make note of their original location.

    2. Disconnect the 12 mm brake lines (B).

    3. Disconnect the connector (A) by pushing the lock (B) and pulling up the lever (C); the connector disconnects itself.

    4. Remove the brake line (A) from the brake line clamp (B).

    5. Remove the VSA modulator-control unit (C) with the bracket (D).

    1. Remove the modulator bracket (A) from the modulator sub bracket (B).

    2. Remove the VSA modulator-control unit (C) from the modulator sub bracket.
